Nike Air Max Light

Air Max Light was originally released in 1989 as the Air Max II, Air Max 89. It was intended as a successor to the Air Max. It weighed less than than the original, achieved by replacing the forefoot polyurethane midsole with one made from phylon. Marketed as a performance running shoe, the Light would eventually be overshadowed by the Air Max III, now known as the Air Max 90.Re-released in 2007, the Air Max Light continues to release in both retro and new colorways.
